Stephen Longley and Craig Crosbie were appointed as Joint and Several Voluntary Administrators of Dixon Advisory & Superannuation Services Pty Ltd on 19 January 2022, pursuant to Section 436A of the Corporations Act.
At the adjourned second meeting of the Company’s creditors held on 16 December 2022, creditors of the Company resolved that the Company execute a Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) DOCA. The DOCA was executed on the same day, and lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission shortly thereafter.
Key timeline and next steps
On Monday, 26 August 2024 the Deed Administrators issued their Notice of Intention to Declare a Dividend for Former Client Creditors and other non-client creditors.
Further details on the distribution process, including instructions on how to access the Creditor Portal, make a claim in the deed administration, and view a breakdown of each creditor’s loss calculation, have been provided to the relevant creditors.
Failure to formally prove your debt or claim by Friday, 25 October 2024 will result in you being excluded from the benefit of the dividend to be declared on or before 24 April 2025.
Creditors should note that any proof of debt or claim previously submitted against the Company (for voting purposes or otherwise) will not be valid for the purposes of the distribution and all creditors are required to submit a new proof of debt or claim should they wish to participate in the distribution process.

As of 30 June 2024, Dixon Advisory & Administration Services Pty Ltd (Subject to Deed of Company Arrangement) (DASS) has had it's membership with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) formally expelled.
Therefore, the deadline for registering a complaint against DASS with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) has now passed. Accordingly, AFCA is not accepting any further complaints against DASS. We understand that any complaint that has already been lodged with AFCA, or is lodged with AFCA before the expulsion, will still be reviewed by AFCA.
